Meet the Teacher

One of my favorite family pictures recently!

 We have so few with ALL five us! And it was an added bonus to have everyone looking forward with big grins! This picture was taken on meet the teacher night in the girls' classroom. To be honest, I thought this would be a really awkward picture because the small chair we are squeezed on barely fit us. Their teacher, Mrs.Vesurk, took these with each family so the kids would have "family" greet them come Monday morning in their classroom.

 

When we got home from visiting the school the kids had fun surprise waiting for them! They were so excited. Thanks Papa and Kathleen! They immediately noticed the cookies were of them! Of course they thought the brown haired "lady" was me but I'm pretty sure it was suppose to be their teacher. Although the picture doesn't quite do it justice, those cookies were huge. None of them could finish a whole in one sitting.

Playtime in the snow

Daddy is so resourceful....He broke down our "thomas the train" cardboard box (that was quite worn anyway) and tied a string to the edge and poof...we have a Texas sled!!

It was so funny to watch. When Daddy would go really fast they both would lay back on their backs like they were on the luge!

While Daddy was pulling the girls up and down the street, I thought it would be fun to put Drew in the cozy coupe and push him around. He wasn't finding it as entertaining
