Love these pictures!
We were headed to a twin playgroup this morning and I had the kids all coordinated in their monogrammed tshirts from Carleigh! They were so cute, so of course I HAD to have a picture (I know, I really don't take enough!) Right before we left I had them sit down next to each other. For the first several minutes Andrew would NOT take his eyes off of Elizabeth. I told her to scoot close to him so that he would turn and look at the camera. Didn't exactly work but what GREAT pictures!! I couldn't have posed this better if I tried!

Such a good eater
This boy is already a bottomless pit! He LOVES to eat!! I think he was probably ready to have solids closer to 5 months because he has always been so interested in what we are eating. I'm still glad we waited until 6 months because he is doing so great! Now that he has been eating baby food, when we all sit down to eat we better have something for him as well. He will scream until he gets it!!! When this boy is hungry he definitely lets you know. It's really one of the only reasons he will yell and scream. He is very impatient when it comes to waiting for his food.
So far there isn't anything he doesn't like.
We of course started with cereal and have now moved onto
1. sweet potatoes
2. yellow squash and butternut squash
3. zuchini
4. green beans
5. apples
6. pears
7. bananas
At this point everything has still been individual but next go around I'm going to try some different combinations and see how those go. I found some really great recipes on wholesomebaby.com that have some fun recipes that work for both infant and toddlers. should be interesting :)
It's so nice being able to put him in a highchair when we are out to eat as well. Obviously, it's not all that often that we all go out to eat but we did eat out twice last week and it was so wonderful not having to lug around that infant carrier! He's just getting to heavy in it now. We switched the girls out at around 8 months but looks like he's going to be out by then end of next week. I'm ordering his big boy carseat on friday! So many fun changes going on with Mr. Drew.

Thing 1 and Thing 3....
can't get enough of each other!!
Elizabeth gives him so much attention. She will come up to him in the sweetest voice and say "hey Bubbas". Naturally with all the attention he gets from her, he tends to always be searching the room for her. He does smile often when he sees Livi, but will belly laugh when he sees Elizabeth.

POST HAIR CUT!!

Daddy wasn't too excited that we had cut it so short. This was his 6th haircut and we took almost an inch off!! Don't worry Daddy, it won't be long until that crazy hair is back.
Until then, I think his little military do looks cute!
Drew man is also officially sitting on his own!!! wahoo!!
Just days ago he was still falling off balance pretty easily. Now all of sudden he can sit for several minutes. What a big boy!

6months
First time this boy has worn jeans and shoes!! I love it!! I can't believe how much this 6 month old already looks like a little boy!!
We had our 6 mo check up yesterday and he is doing wonderful. No issues at all and steadily growing.
weight - 16lbs10oz (50%)
height - 26.6 in (50%)
head circ - 17.6in (75%)
Two vaccines today and again was a trooper. Less than 30 second recovery and he was smiling again!
Again, his hair stole the show. I doesn't hurt that at this point he is still very social and loves attention from people. He generally starts smiling whenever someone talks to him. I honestly think that I get stopped just as often with comments on his hair as I did with comments about the girls being twins! It's amazing how a full head of spikey hair on an infant can attract so much attention.
