9mo check up

Two thumbs up for the Drew man at his 9 month appointment. He passed with flying colors and is in tip top shape. Wow 9 months! I can't believe it! This little boy is STILL all over the place. He never stops! I feel like a broken record saying it, but I'm still in amazement at the energy that he has. His appetite is sure showing it too. He consumes at least what BOTH girls did combined at the same age!! He takes four-five 7oz bottles throughout the day and 8-10oz of solid food at each meal! Eating that much you would think he would be enormous!! The girls ate a fraction of that and were definitely some chubby little gals. Even the pediatrician said that he must have a pretty high metabolism.

My favorite things he is doing right now are clapping when he's happy, "talking" to Elizabeth (I'm convinced these two have their own code words already. He mimics so much that she says and does), his "tough guy" face, and of course his new word "MOMMA"!

Both girls LOVE to feed him so they switch off feeding him every night while a fix dinner. Liv is usually the first to volunteer, or should I say demand to feed him. hehe! Although Drew is generally wearing a portion of his food, everyone is happy!

His stats for the day:
Drew
     Weight:   20lbs 3.5oz  (45%)
Height:   28 3/4 in (65%)
Head:  18 3/4in (95%)

Comparison of the girls at the same age:
Elizabeth
21 lbs 3oz (90%)
27 1/2in (50%)
18 1/2in (>90%)

Olivia
19lbs 3oz (50%)
26 1/4in (10%)
17 3/4in (75%)

*It's official! I think Drew has Elizabeth's head! This was the last appointment that Elizabeth registered on the chart for HC. Let's see if Drew makes the leap off next time too. ;)

9 months!!

HALLOWEEEN!!!

We had such a great night with the kids and family! The girls have been so excited about their costumes (they chose them) and trick or treating this year! We did a little bit of trick or treating last year but they were still real unsure about walking up to the different homes. This year, they couldn't get enough.
"next house.... next house"
started passing a few candies out before we even left

Our little Texas Ranger!

Here we go!!!!!
The infamous house that we HAD to visit EVERY night before going to bed!! "The balloon" was a gargoyle type creature that had red eyes and turned it's head. They loved it but were a little scared of it too. For three full weeks, before Halloween, we had to walk down the street to see it before the girls went to bed.
Livi leading the pack .
We walked up the hill and crossed the street to go back down when I noticed Liv DID NOT have her shoes on!! We were all so excited to go trick or treating that apparently I put her socks on but not her shoes. We asked if she wanted us to run back and get them but she said no. So she trick or treated for two whole blocks while only wearing her socks!! Oopsie! Thankfully all her toes and feet were still intact once we got home. hehe!
Time to pass out more candy.
Doorbell would ring and they would get so excited! Thanks for helping us Tita!

Daddy, Toto, January, Uncle Mickey and Drew
Thanks for my goodnight bottle Uncle Mickey
Unfortunately, the socks didn't survive the Halloween walk.
Looks like we are going to need a replacement!
