First steps!!!

Last night was Drew's first real steps!! He has been standing on his own for a few weeks and cruising like a champ along the couch and with push toys. Yesterday, he starting doing squats while standing and it was hilarious. He was so impressed with himself. Giggling and laughing every time he squatted and pushed back up. He was pretty much doing this all afternoon. Then towards the evening he took FIVE steps!! Cheers were flying all around. Even he started clapping and giggling. He tried again and then it was EIGHT steps! For the last two weeks or so he has been consistently taking two steps but that was it. I'm so excited that he is officially becoming a walker, but in the same breath I am terrified!!! He is so fast and is a lot less cautious than the girls were. I never worried about the girls venturing in the streets or wandering off. Somehow I don't think this little guy is following in their footsteps! He is going to give us all a run for our money!

LSU vs A&m

On January 7 the Aggies and the Tigers met in the Cotton Bowl!! So much fun! With our teams being in different conferences, it isn't too often our teams play each other. Much to our surprise, we had a match up this year! So we got all geared up and headed over to our friends Christina and Jonathans's (also aggies ;) ) new gorgeous house! 

Oh yeah!!!

After a night of partying, this guy crashed!

Wish I had taken a few more pictures of everyone all dressed up but I was too busy catching up with Christina and enjoying the great company! Lots of fun! We didn't leave their house until almost midnight and BOTH girls were still awake!!

 Needless to say the whole family was taking naps on Saturday.

poor little monkeys

A few weeks back we had a cold that wiped out all the kids. No fevers just lots of congestion. Both Liv and Drew were up early on this morning and this was about taken about 9am! One minute they were awake and the next they were OUT!! My poor babies :-(

11 months

Holy moly, what happened to my baby!!! He's already a little boy!!

With a ravenous appetite and constantly on the move, he keeps us all on our toes.

At 11 months, he wants to be right in the middle of what his sisters are doing (whether they want him there or not).

He is officially standing now! No steps, but will balance on two feet for up to 30-40secs!

Still a great sleeper. Bed usually around 8pm and waking at 7am!

Top two teeth are now breaking through.

Still a VERY happy guy! Doesn't take much to make him smile or giggle!

 He loves to point up...mostly at lights and ceiling fans. He gets such a kick out of our reaction. He points, we look, and he laughs! love it!

Although he has always been a momma's boy up to this point, I think the tables have turned. Daddy has been getting LOTS of attention lately!! (and he loves it!)
