Tough Guy

For several months now, Drew has been making the "Tough Guy" face. I finally caught a few pictures to show the expressions. You just can't help but smile when he does it. On our recent trip to see GiGi, the kids were watching Toy Story in the car. All of sudden, Tita and I hear Drew making the "tough guy" face. I couldn't figure out why he was spontaneously doing it but Tita said she heard one of the characters mention something about a "tough guy" in the movie and he was staring straight at the screen making the face and noise. Absolutely hilarious!
These pictures aren't from the car ride but from a couple weeks ago in the kitchen....

Andrew's Growth/Activites

2yrs - 32lbs (90%), 36in(90%)
(he was laying down for ht so probably just under 36in when you account for curve of spine. He was not going to stand for the nurse that day.)
HE IS TALKING!! he uses regularly now and repeats just about everything we say. can sing his entire alphabet. recognizes all upper and lowercase letters when asked. knows numbers 1-10 individually but still skips a few when counting in sequence.
19mo - 27lbs7oz (70%), 34in (90%)
All teeth in the process of coming in now. thankfully almost unnoticed when they started coming in
15.5mo - 25lbs130z (70%), 32 1/4in (80%)
14.5mo - unofficial weight: 26lbs. 8th tooth popping through on the bottom
12.5mo - 24 1/2 lbs (70%) 30 3/4in (85%) 1 week later is now a FULL WALKER!!
12mo - WALKING!! although crawling is still the preferred method of travel at this point, he does walk across the room several times a day! two days after his birthday he has already mastered the 180degree turn on his own. He is so PROUD of himself when he is walking!!! Love it!!
11.5 mo - taking 2 steps solo! THREE more teeth coming in!!! a total of 7 teeth now! four on the top and three on the bottom
11mo - now standing unassisted ALL the time! top two teeth also coming in! funny how they always come in pairs.
-10.5mo - starting to balance unassisted 3-4secs. now waving bye bye, dancing ANYTIME he hears music, likes to "sing" , started eating cheerios and mum mums (ive been hesitant to give too much since he only has two teeth)
-9.5mo - now cruising along the couch and starting to use push toys in standing position. super fast crawler, cautious walker (with help). mimics all kinds of sounds including those his sisters make and the pups. Hilarious!
-9mo - pulling up on EVERYTHING!! happiest kid on the block. monstrous appetite. sleeping 10-11 hours at night. now saying MAMA!!! clapping, and so proud of it. The "tough guy" face made its debut. -8.5mo - pulled all the way up to his feet from a sitting position!! also now saying Da Da very clearly.
-8mo - now crawling on all fours! still likes to army crawl too. can now go from crawling position to sitting and vice versa
-7.5 mo - first TWO teeth!! bottom two came in together
-7mo - although not crawling up on all fours, he is now doing the army crawl. the girls never did this and it's hilarious. He even tries to walk in the bear crawl position. eating like a champ!! 6-8oz of baby food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. 3 or 4, 6-8oz bottles and nursing morning and night. sizes are very strange for clothes right now. he is still in 3-6 month pants and shorts, 6-9m in shirts, and 12 month for sleepers.
-6mo - rolling, spinning, and sliding across the floor. he is everywhere! although not officially crawling yet he seems to be scooting and rolling himself wherever he wants to go. Sitting unassisted for 10-15 seconds! He is such a squirmy little worm he's usually throwing himself off balance. 16lbs 10oz (50%) 26.6 in (50%)
-5mo - rolling both front to back and back to front now. pushes entire chest off the floor. Pulls both knees under and pushes but doesn't coordinate arms yet. still sleeping mostly 9-10 hrs at night with occasional early mornings. 2-3 naps a day. quite a strong grasp. very reactive to his twisters! VERY HAPPY!! GIGGLES A LOT! 15lbs
16weeks - 14lbs 8oz, 25 in (50,50)
-15weeks - sleeping through the night consistently since 13 weeks!! to bed between 8-9pm and sleeps until until 6-630am!!
-13weeks - now in size 2 diapers
-11 weeks - rolled from front to back for first time!! -10weeks - 12lbs10oz, 24in (50-75% for both) second hair cut!
-8weeks - can now sit in the bumbo and can be propped in the tigger jumper for up to 15 minutes!! 11lbs 12oz (~32%)
7 weeks - officially out of ALL newborn clothes and diapers now sleeping full nights in his crib in 3-4 hr stretches (occasionally 5 hrs). loves his playmat - lots of giggles and smiles likes to "talk" - this is my favorite thing right now!
-6 weeks - 10lbs
-5 weeks - first hair cut first fever and congestion :( -4 weeks - first smile and giggle
-3 weeks - 8lbs 1oz, 20 3/4in (50, 50)
-Birth - 7lbs 9oz, 19 1/2 in
