Poor Andrew

I can't believe it....Andrew official has his first little cold :-(  He and I have now had two nights sleeping sitting up on the couch because he is so congested. He may even have a sore throat since he seems to be gagging a lot of his saliva. Poor little guy! First night I thought it was just that he had some reflux that he aspirated and he had some bronchial spasms. But yesterday he had a low fever for most of the day (100-101.5).  we gave him a very small dose of tylenol and he did perk up a little into the evening hours. Day 2 now the fever is gone but the congestion is definitely still in full force. Poor little guy must have sneezed 50 times this morning. At least the snots are coming out now which seems to be helping too. Just hoping that he doesn't spike anymore fevers so we don't have to take him in. The worry is that they will have to run a bunch of tests with him being so young but so far looks as though he is hanging in there! Just makes me sad to see him so uncomfortable. Both the girls got their first illnesses when they were 3 months old (their first christmas). Funny thing is at one month andrew is actual the size they were at 3months. crazy! Of course with congestion also comes lack of sleep! He sleeps so well most of the time but of course the only good sleep he is getting right now is if someone (mostly mommy) is holding him.
I am afraid we have to thank big sis Elizabeth for this episode. She also has been sick most of the week. Luckily no fevers for her but major chest congestion and back on her nebulizer up to 5x a day right now. She is so good about taking it though that it isn't a struggle at all in that department. Thankful Liv seems to have passed by this one. She seemed to have a runny nose for a day or so but didn't turn into anything! Thank heavens!
Hopefully within the next day or so we can have everyone healthy again and be able to enjoy the beautiful weather that has finally come :-)
We are getting ready for our visit from Tia V for Spring Break! We can't wait to have her come play with us!
